Maple Grove, MN, June 2/Company issued release/ -- DTS and GEOSPAN Corporation announced the completion of a pavement condition, traffic sign, and street light inventory for the City of Royal Palm Beach, FL. GEOSPAN Corporation collected GEOVISTA™ spatially indexed imagery coverage of all Royal Palm Beach, FL maintained roads with a vehicle equipped with six (6) cameras to capture 360º views of the road network. Imagery from the front and rear camera was processed at full resolution of 3404 x 2336 to support a desktop Pavement Condition Index (PCI) rating.
The GEOVISTA imagery was used for desktop extraction of precise GPS locations and attributes for all City maintained traffic signs and lighting. Wavetech utilized the same imagery for completion of a PCI rating for pavement segments maintained by the City.
The City licensed GEOVISTA 360º Visual Surveyor™ software to enable desktop viewing of their road network with the ability to extract sub meter coordinate locations of everything viewable in the imagery.
