GEOSPAN SELECTED FOR CITY OF CALGARY PROPERTY IMAGERY PROJECT
Minneapolis, MN – October 2 - GEOSPAN Corporation, announced today that they have been selected by the City of Calgary for the collection of GEOVISTA™ oblique aerial imagery.
The City of Calgary completed an RFP process for the collection of street level and aerial oblique imagery for 400,000 properties located along 4,000 kilometers of roads throughout the 722 square kilometer City limits. The multi-year project provides for cross-departmental access to the imagery through ESRI GIS software. The City will also market this imagery to the private sector through their public portal calgaryonlinestore,com. GEOSPAN Director of Business Development, Steven Gilkey stated, “we feel that earning the business of one of the most GIS advanced large government entities is a strong testimonial to the spatial accuracy inherent in all of our imagery collection methods”.
